Battle Libusin 2025 Scenario

Dear friends, fencers!

For the past thirty-two years, a historical battle has been taking place under the Libušín hillfort at the end of April. Each year, we focus on a certain period of the Middle Ages. Last year, we commemorated the jubilee of Jan Žižka, in previous years we experienced the highly medieval Grunwald or the late medieval Battle of Schönberg, where we also met the Landsknechts.

This year, we will focus on older medieval history, which has not been given much attention for a long time, when the story will take us to the early Middle Ages and the story of the powerful Viking King! The battle scénario is designed, as every year, for all periods of the Middle Ages, so you don't have to worry that this year's battle will focus only on the Vikings.

We ask you all to study the attached script so that during the Saturday morning rehearsal at 9:00 we will be able to just go through all of this in terms of positions and not have to delay the rehearsal so much. The more we know the script well, the better for everyone, especially the spectators. You can ask any questions directly in the comments or ask your commanders for details on site during the exercise.
