Archery at the Bitva Libušín Festival

The program for this year’s event continues the traditions established by Bitva Libušín over the past 33 years. A key focus will once again be archery, an essential part of historical warfare and daily life.

Program with the "Žoldnéři" (Mercenaries) Troupe

The archery program at the festival is managed by Dalibor z Kozojed and his Žoldnéři troupe. In addition to their active participation in the battle reenactment itself, they have prepared activities for visitors focused on the technique and history of the discipline.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the archery range will be open from 10:15 AM to 3:00 PM.

Visitors can try shooting with replicas of medieval bows and learn about the technical specifications of these weapons. The program is based on historical contexts where archery served primarily for defense and hunting.

Archery Tournament

The main archery event will take place on Saturday, April 18, starting at 6:00 PM (18:00) with a period-accurate tournament. Participants will compete in three disciplines:

• Distance shooting

• Hunting style shooting

• Target shooting
